The "Fears Embrace" quest gets available through "The Taken War: Mars" at quest step 5.

❱ SPEEDRUN TO THE BOSSFIGHT
The short section before you get to the "Echo of Oryx" can take a while if you want to clear out all enemies. The quest is set at light 41 and enemies are pretty deadly.
The best strategy is to bump up "armor" and "recovery" on your character and run past all enemies. Quickly take out the blight at the bridge jump and take out some of the enemies that are standing directly in your way. Clear the last room and get ready for the boss fight with the "Echo of Oryx".
❱ FEARS EMBRACE BOSS FIGHT TIPS (03:20)
Since the boss room has literally traps every few feet and blesses the bottom floor with deadly gas, it becomes a frustrating mess with endlessly spawning taken enemies if you stay out in the open.
Luckily there is a small corner in the first floor that can be used to camp and avoid the traps.
Enemies will still give you a hard time but if you move from side to side you can break line of sight often enough to recover and catch a breath. If possible save your super and a grenade for emergencies.
Use your machine gun and scout rifle to damage the "Echo of Oryx". Oryx will disappear from time to time, but after a short time he will be back in the middle.
